What if we're a cosmic fluke?
What if we just got shit-bag lucky that we're on the right planet with the right sort of star at the right sort of distance from us to provide us with the right sort of conditions to exist?
You know when people say, hey, there's only a ONE in a billion chance of something happening... they use it to say that something is practically impossible...
What if we ARE that one in a billion? The fluke off-chance of the universe?
What if we ARE just the one planet that electricity and cosmic permutations and combinations threw together and developed to the heightened stage of free porn and cola?
We learn, we grow, we sit at a desk and pull a paycheck...
We stay alive to pull a paycheck
We pull a paycheck to keep ourselves alive...
Why?
Why keep ourselves alive?
No no, Im not being suicidal... Im just being contemplative... what ENDS are we staying alive for? What am I keeping myself fit and healthy for? To just grow old and one day not be fit anymore and then die?
Surely pulling a paycheck and staying alive and comfortable isn't the ends of our existence?
But what if it IS? What if we're the universe's biggest fluke, and we just ARE... we just BE and there is NO grand scheme of things, no grand plan that we've been assembled here for? We're here to stay alive by making money and vice versa...
"No Grand Scheme will be handed out upon this watery planet. Your life is pointless"
Tell me then... does that frighten you? Or liberate you?

hmmmm.....
1. the human race is not 'cosmic fluke', whereas, as i and most others would like to believe, is the outcome of long, painful and eternal evolutionary process.
2. whether taking a paycheck to live or living to take a paycheck is purely by compulsion than by choice... the former happens in the case of those in the lowest rung of the ladder of success as measured by pre-cast social systems.
3. availability of free-porn and cola is the visible signal of the first stage of the perennial degeneration-regeneration cycle which has been happening on every front...in other words, history repeats itself :)
we are going back to how we started....as silent brutes...and there is no escape.
4. there is certainly no grand purpose why we exist. we exist as pegs which are designed to fit in the voids of society. whether we fit exactly or need some sand-papering depends on various factors which cannot and should not be generalized.
so, on this soon to be dry planet my friend, u never had any grand plan to be handed over by an invisible hand from the heavens because u were never worth it. :)
